Russia pursues a sovereign track through TC26, the Rosstandart Technical Committee for Standardization Cryptographic Information Protection, whose Working Group 2.5 is developing post-quantum cryptographic mechanisms to extend the national GOST R 34 cryptographic series. No adopted national post-quantum standard had been published as of June 2026.
